Active Prep CGO Grade (Col / Lt Col Retd) GHQ-CGO-01/2026 GHQ/CP-IV/CGO-RE-EMP/2026Applications are invited from retired / released / retiring Army officers (Colonels / Lieutenant Colonels) for re-employment as Civilian Gazetted Officers (CGOs) in General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi / Lower Formations of the Army.
Key Responsibilities & Scope:
• Senior aviation staff management, operational coordination, and safety policy supervision within GHQ Aviation Directorate / setups.
• Overseeing Aviation Flight Safety (FS) standards, accident prevention protocols, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Evaluation of instructional pilot standards, operational doctrine, and training workflows.
Eligibility & Service Rules:
• Retirement struck off strength within last 2 years (last 5 years for Pilots), excluding LPR.
• Clear record free from moral turpitude / disciplinary cases. Medical Category not 'EEE'.
• Period of employment: 3 years extendable by 01 year based on performance.
• Selection via Special Selection Board at GHQ Rawalpindi.

Retired / Released / Retiring Colonel or Lieutenant Colonel. Preferable Qual: psc / lsc / isc, Aviation Flight Safety (Avn FS), AAIC (for Safety Management System - SMS slots).
Prescribed Experience & Eligibility Criteria
Grade-1 / Grade-2 staff appointment done in GHQ or any Aviation setup. Qualified Instructor Pilot (IP).
